I agree, Michael. I think Kristina’s hrumphish response indicates that she feels the bare-bottomedness itself, the actuality as opposed to how her mind perceives it, is the operational imperative in this case.
However, Recidivist’s point is valid – that when a girl’s behind already is all but bare because she’s wearing a thong, the final removal of that disreputable undergarment is anticlimactic, in the minds of spanker and spankee both.

I believe in the highly functional use of a thong or strings (as we call them in Finland, strings, “stringit”). That use means wearing a thong under tight pants or skirt because then you can´t see the ugly underwear lines through the piece of clothing.
But if a girl is without pants or skirts I think her bottom (or my own “bottom-non-existante”) looks much more sexier in cute knickers than in a thong
