Why did I not receive the memo? Has Lurkers’ Day always been on Veteran’s Day? … It has? Really? Wow. Sorry that we’re late … it’s Uncle D.’s fault.

Beloved Lurkers, we sometimes get more than 2,000 of you visiting us each day. It’s hard for us to wrap our heads around that – that so many folks take the time to check in with us daily. Thanks so much for coming here each day. There’s a strong sense of satisfaction (and power) knowing that we’re on 2,000+ favorite lists out there. *G*
I know we’re getting a late start with this post, but for those of you who are just checking in now … would you be so kind to post a ‘hello’? We’d love to put some names with those numbers, really we would.

I’m glad you were able to join in the fun. You are, of course, a most welcome addition to our LOL day lineup.
The truth is that I wanted to send you an invitation, but there is no address I could find anywhere on this site and I don’t think we’ve ever corresponded via e-mail before. So I can assure you, you were not excluded by intent.
With that said, I really enjoy your blog and wish I had more time to participate in the dialog. May you enjoy fair weather and swift tailwinds throughout your journey.

Okay, I didn’t remember LOL Day being on Veteran’s Day last year either, and although I was the one who told Gwen that it is, it has been a really long day and I can’t remember how I found out.
It must have been Bonnie’s doing, I’m pretty sure, and just by the way, GWENDOLYN, that makes it not my fault at all and anyway THE VERY IDEA saying that! *G*
Those issues aside, thanks to all for de-lurking or semi-de-lurking, or simply popping in with a comment.
