I came *this* close to letting it go with a simple ‘thank you’ to Todd & Suzy from The American Spanking Society but in hindsight I’ve realized it’s far too special for that. Todd & Suzy have a terrific site – I’ve added them to our Blogroll. If you’re not already familiar with them please take a moment and check them out.

Devlin O’Neill’s Weblog:
We spend a decent amount of time surfing the ‘net in search of information and insights about spanking. When we find something we like, we save it. As a result our ‘favorite places’ has over 1000 links in it. Not kidding! We try to share our favorite finds here in Wink posts… and we have backlog of about 50 sites we want to get too (the reason we’re sharing 3 sites per week these days).
Earlier this week we were checking out Chross Blog’s ‘Spankings of the Week’ post, which is an awesome source for finding anything and everything out about adult consensual spanking… and we stumbled into Devlin O’Neill’s blog, and folks… it’s solid spanking gold! Have to share it with you right away.
Devlin O’Neill is a pretty well known and successful writer… ‘Corporal Idaho’ and ‘A Maid for All Seasons’ are 
a couple of examples of his fine work. He’s brought his wealth of talent to the world of blogging and we think the result has been pretty spectacular.
He’s not alone in the effort though. Gwen gives the blog a very nice feminine touch. Her post about Jane Birkin and how she use to sneak into her brother’s room to view his Playboy’s is what caught Cross’ attention.
Lots of pictures on this blog. Really good pictures. It’s the writing that caught our attention though. Devlin wrote a post about the simple act of a woman’s panties being pulled down for a spanking a little while back,.. and whoa… what a read! Sexy and funny, thought provoking and whimsical.
Lots and lots of posts too. The blog is a year old next week, and we only got through about half of the archives. We usually cover every single post on a blog… in part because we do skim through older posts. Hard to do that here though. Honestly will find yourself taking in every word an image.
If you haven’t had the please, please do yourself a favor and take a peak at this A+ blog.

And way to go, Princess! You managed to sneak the A word into this blog, and right up at the top of the post where no one will miss it, AND you think because this is all about me and my ‘wealth of talent’ I’ll let such impudence go unnoticed, my head having been turned by these (well deserved) compliments, but you need to think again and I’ll see you in my office bright and early tomorrow morning, young lady. The very idea!
And again, from yours truly, my thanks as well, Todd & Suzy. Your kind (and insightful *G*) compliments are very much appreciated.
So as Gwen mentioned, American Spanking Society’s blog is now listed in the blog roll for easy access and I highly recommend it to readers of this blog – well, to anyone with the spanking gene come to that.
However, I am warning OUR brats, the ones who post here, that in any discussion involving the American Spanking Society blog, the use, overuse, or abuse of said blog’s acronym WILL constitute a serious breach of decorum and result in a seriously spanked bottom. I trust the Tops hereabouts know my preferences well enough that I need say nothing of the sort to them.
But have we really been in business a year next week? Hard to believe, but I guess time really does fly when you’re having fun. So while I’m thanking people I need to thank YOU, our readers, lurkers, commenters, brats, noodges, fans, dissenters, and not to mention our family physician (I SAID I wouldn’t mention you, Doc *G*) for keeping us going, keeping us honest, and keeping it surreal around here. Thanks for the kind words, Dr. Ken, and I always follow doctor’s orders when it comes to traveling to Spain for the Running Of The Brats, but don’t forget with Gwen, cj, Kristina, Season and countless others we have our own Running Of The Brats on this blog everyday. Running of their mouths actually, but I would love to go to Spain and run them down in the streets wielding a paddle. Perhaps that cute paddle Gwen featured in her previous post, that looks like it provides quite a sting.

And in case you missed my numerous rants on the A word subject, my main objection is that using a term for livestock in reference to my favorite part of a girl’s anatomy simply galls me to the core. I’ll leave it at that.
Doc! Excellent Hemingway allusion, although I understand that the extent of Papa’s participation in bull running amounted to watching from a balcony while he quaffed copious amounts of Madeira and envied his more adventurous brethren who actually ran with the bulls.
